Jake + Katie // Au Gres, Michigan

We had the joy of photographing two weddings in a row at The Rivermill in Au Gres, Michigan, and Katie and Jake’s beautiful fall wedding was another reminder of why we love this venue so much. With gorgeous weather and a perfect fall day, it was a wonderful setting to celebrate these two and the life they are building together.

What made their wedding especially meaningful was the heart behind their relationship. Katie and Jake share a deep love for one another and a commitment to building their marriage on their faith and love for God. Throughout the planning process, we loved hearing their testimony and learning more about the story God has been writing in their lives.

One of our favorite parts of the day was setting aside time for just the two of them during their couple portraits. Away from the busyness of the wedding day, we were able to capture the closeness and connection they share. There is something so special about witnessing a couple who genuinely enjoy one another and are stepping into marriage with such a strong foundation.
