St. Thomas, USVI // Amanda + Evan

The US Virgin Islands are a dream come true.  Colors are more vibrant, the sun shines brighter, and life is carefree.  We were so excited to make the adventure down to St. Thomas to celebrate Amanda and Evan and it was the perfect day.  This wedding was set in paradise, the ceremony was at Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, and then the couple and their friends took an amazing yacht ride to their reception at Iggies Beach Bar and Grill.  Yes, a yacht... does it get better than that? 

The Brides family has made St. Thomas a second home, traveling there a couple times a year, making lots of friends and memories along the way.  One thing that was mentioned many times throughout the trip was how caring, welcoming, and loving Amanda, Evan, and their families are.  Which showed to be very true as we were able to get to know them.  One thing that we will never forget is meeting the famous Ivan, who is there longtime friend, and St. Thomas cab driver.  I had the opportunity to talk to him at the reception and he spoke about how the Torreys are family to him and that he was so excited and honored to share in celebrating Amanda's big day.  

The love these two show to the people around them and to each other is profound and impactful.  They were surrounded by 70+ people who traveled across the globe to celebrate their big day.  It says a lot about how loved two people are when so many people make it a priority to travel that distance to celebrate them.  So many laughs were had and memories were made that will last a lifetime.  

Amanda and Evan, we can't thank you enough for the opportunity to come and shoot your beautiful wedding in St. Thomas, we fell in love with St. Thomas and I have that this won't be the last time we see those crystal blue waters.
