Veronica + David

One thing that is almost always guaranteed is that a wedding will never go 100% perfectly as planned.  There is almost always some sort of hiccup, the limo is 15 minutes late, one of the flower girls won't walk down the aisle, or the bride forgets her flats and has to go barefoot at the reception.  No matter what some sort of little detail will be off on the big day... big or small something almost always "goes wrong".

Working with David and Veronica was a privilege and unforgetable.. in these pictures it is evident that they are full of joy and laughter, and that it is impossible not to have fun when they are around.  Even when a fairly big hiccup happened on their big day they kept on smiling.

When Veronica, David, and the bridal party were on their way from Cascade to the Ceremony in Jenison they realized..... they had left the flowers at Watermark Country Club in Cascade where they were getting ready.  With the Ceremony starting in 30 minutes and being at least 20 minutes away from the venue, it was not an option to go back and get the flowers.  It would have been 100% justified for Veronica to freak out and let it largely affect her day.  But she didn't, she kept smiling, and they made it to the ceremony on time and without her flowers.

However, their fantastic florist Jane Williams pulled through and brought her a bouquet just in time to walk down the aisle to the love of her life.  I cannot tell you how crucial it is to know and trust your vendors, knowing that you are working with professionals you can count on gives piece of mind on one of the biggest days of your life.  And guess what... Veronica walked down the aisle, they said their vows, kissed, were pronounced man and wife, and not a single person noticed that she was carrying a different bouquet than what she had ordered, it all worked out and they had an absolutely perfect wedding day.

The other thing I noticed in this crazy moment was that Veronica and David were not going to let anything get in the way of them celebrating that they were about to start the rest of their life together.  It's in those crazy moments that you see that the only thing that matters is that at the end of the day, you are marrying your best friend and starting the rest of your life.  Take away the flowers, the dress, the photos, and you have your friends, family, and each other and that is what truly matters.

Veronica and Davids wedding was a day full of joy and love and I will never forget it.
