Stefany + Andrew // East Tawas, Michigan

On the 4th of July Stefany and Andrew came all the way from San Antonio, Texas to get married at Lake Life Cottages. The grooms parents are local to the area and he wanted to bring his beautiful bride to this amazing beach side town to get married with just their parents and two siblings at their side. The ceremony was officiated by Andrews Dad who has now married 3 of his sons, and afterwards we walked the beautiful East Tawas Dock.

As we were walking off the dock I told them they had to get ice cream at Marions Dairy Bar to celebrate while they were in town, Stefany wanted to do it then to celebrate and it was the cherry on top of their perfect elopment ceremony and photoshoot.

Don’t get me wrong I love a big beautiful 200 person wedding with a live band, delicious food, and all of the flowers, BUT there is something extra special about intimate moments with just the couple and a few key people that mean the most. I think my favorite thing about what we do is capturing every end of the spectrum from big cathedral weddings, to backyard BBQ weddings, and 4th of July elopements.
