Olivia + Zac // St. Helen, Michigan

I have been so excited for this wedding day for longer than I can remember. From the moment Zac reached out to me about proposing to Olivia, through their engagement photos and our time together planning for this big day, I have grown to love this pair and their family more and more. Zac and Olivia are full of life, to know them is to love them, and they immediately bring a huge smile to your face. We were so honored to capture their proposal, engagement, and wedding day and so thankful to call them friends.

There were two things from their day that I think of that speak to their character and their relationship. First, their wedding had record low temps, terrible sideways rain, and wind. Any bride would be worried, and disappointed that this was what their beautiful late summer wedding was calling for, not Olivia, there was zero complaint or worry the entire day. I feel like the first point speaks to the authenticity of the second, there was a theme in every speech given, in their vows and ceremony that spoke to the hardships they have already overcome as a couple. From loss, to family health issues, and buying a house these two have already worked together to navigate some difficult life situations all with two things tying them together closer and closer, their faith and their love for each other.

I am so thankful to know this couple and to have been a part of their wedding, not only have they overcome such trial but they are also a couple I am always laughing with and I cannot imagine a better groom to have his wedding on his birthday, if you know this guy, he brings smiles all around. Happy Birthday to Zac you were given the best birthday present a guy could ask for, the best bride, congratulations friends!
