Kendra + Jacob // East Tawas, Michigan

This couple and this wedding has a very special place in my heart. A couple of weeks ago we were blessed to celebrate with two of our friends on their big day. Kendra and Jacob are friends and fellow believers and walking alongside of them on this journey has been an absolute privilege. Their wedding day is one I will never forget.

I always tell people I shed tears regularly at weddings, call me a sap but hundreds of weddings in I can still shed a tear during a special moment, but this wedding was something different. Over the past year I have had a front row seat at these two chasing after a relationship with Jesus, they are both in a hurry to know and follow the Lord and their day was focused on just that. We had a special moment during their ceremony when we got to pray over them and experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in that moment was something I will never forget.

There is truthfully nothing better than watching your friends chasing after Jesus and leaning into their will over his life. I am inspired by these two and love them more than words can say. Congratulations Kendra and Jacob, I couldn’t be happier for you and I truthfully cannot wait to see where the Lord leads you as a couple and us in friendship, your love for each other and for Jesus is inspiring and exciting. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.
